Balearic Elements by Agua de Baleares is certainly one of those collections.

Inspired by the landscapes and atmosphere of the Balearic Islands: Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera, it’s a fragrance range that captures the quieter, more textural side of Mediterranean life. Not just the brightness of summer, but the warmth, stillness and natural beauty that define the islands year-round.

A Fragrance Collection Shaped by the Mediterranean

Created and produced in Spain, Balearic Elements draws directly from the environment around it, using locally sourced ingredients such as Menorcan sea salt, wild lemon and almond blossom to build its fragrances.

The collection was developed during time spent on the islands in the off-season, when the pace slows and the details become more apparent. The scent of citrus trees, the mineral quality of the air, the warmth of wood and earth.

Each fragrance in the collection brings together a range of fragrances, each inspired by a different aspect of the Balearic landscape.

Olive Wood
A warm, grounding composition that balances brightness with depth. Notes of orange and grapefruit open into geranium, pepper and olive leaf, settling into a base of oakmoss, cedarwood and olivewood.

Almond Blossom
Soft and quietly floral, inspired by almond trees in bloom. White rose, almond blossom and lychee lead into a heart of peony, freesia and lily of the valley, with a gentle base of amber, magnolia and cedar leaf.

Clean and mineral, with a light, coastal character. Bergamot and sea salt are layered with apple, lemon and water cane, finishing with a subtle base of cedar leaf and sea salt.

Orange Blend
A more rounded citrus fragrance, combining bergamot, sweet orange and lime with herbal and floral notes of lavender, wild angelica and orange blossom, finishing with rosemary, myrtle and cedar leaf.

Black Juniper
Fresh and aromatic, with a slightly woody edge. Juniper sits alongside black pepper and iris root, supported by a base of musk, sandalwood and cedarwood.

A Considered Approach to Fragrance

The collection is available across a range of formats, allowing the fragrances to be experienced in different ways, as natural soy wax candles, reed diffusers, and eau de toilette or room sprays.

Each product is designed with a focus on both quality and longevity. The candles are hand-poured using natural soy wax for a clean, slow and even burn, while the diffusers and sprays offer a more continuous or immediate way to introduce fragrance into a space.

Across the range, there is a clear commitment to using naturally derived ingredients wherever possible. The formulations are generally paraben-free and made without petroleum-derived components, reflecting a more considered approach to both craftsmanship and materials.
